KOUBAT AL KHAYATINE

Cross the small square to reach the Christian prison. The small building crowned with a dome is  Koubat el Khayatine. This former pavilion served as a reception room for foreign official missions and ambassadors. Later, tailors (khyatine) used the koubba as a workshop for making military outfits.
