FILALI SCHOOL

Filali School (Medersa Filalia), located in the heart of the medina and close to the Medersa Bou Inania, is a historical monument that served as a place of worship and religious teaching. It is composed of two levels: the ground floor with a central patio where the room for prayer and the Quran training and reading course is located. Currently, the traditional school serves as a vocational training centre for national assistance. Filali School has a sober architectural style. The walls are simple and without decoration. The student accommodation rooms are arranged around the central patio at the level of the upper floor.
